Beniamino Abate (born 10 April 1962, in San Martino Valle Caudina, Province of Avellino) is a retired Italian football goalkeeper.
During his career, Abate played in Serie C1 with Benevento, and in Serie A with Udinese (1985, 1986, 1987 and 1990),[1] Internazionale, Cagliari and Reggiana in Serie B where ended his career. In Serie A, he played a total of 67 matches.
He is currently the assistant goalkeeping coach at Milan. His son, Ignazio plays as Right-back for Milan.
